Wonderful Wednesday with Painted Seasons

Fabulous Floral Card Tutorial
I'm again finding more colors that match this wonderful Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP): Powder Pink.  And the coordinating Painted Seasons Stamp Set is perfect for creating a focal point in Powder Pink as well.  Coloring the center of the flower with a Blender Pen in Early Espresso also makes the stamped image look very much like those printed on the DSP too!

Tip of the Day
You can create cards and leave the sentiments off until you need one!  Today's design does just that.  I left the card intentionally without a sentiment, which means I can either use it as is, or add a sentiment on another layer when I want to use it.  This gives you more flexibility to use your cards for more occasions.  What kind of card do you think this one should be?  Birthday? Mother's Day? Sympathy?

Product of the Week: Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper
The Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP) is a great pack of paper for any occasion and any season.  It includes three sheets each in four designs.  Each paper has a bold floral design on one side, with a coordinating more subtle patterned design on the other side, giving you 8 patterns to make all sorts of crafty fun!  True to Stampin' Up! quality, this DSP has a good thickness to it, making it great to create 3D items as well.  But it's only available through the end of March.  It is a Sale-a-Bration item too, so you can get it FREE with any $50 order (or get the coordinating stamp set and DSP with a $100 order).  A little note: there are also coordinating framelits that go with the stamp set that you can purchase as well!

2.  Adhere Layers 3 and 4 to the back of Layer 5 using Snail.

3.  Adhere all three of Layer 2 to Layer 1, spacing evenly.

4.  Wrap a length of the Powder Pink ribbon around the middle of Layers 1 and 2, securing to the back side of Layer 1 using Mini Glue Dots.  Repeat this with the Call Me Clover Ribbon, fitting it in the middle of the Powder Pink Ribbon.

5.  Adhere Layers 1 and 2 to Base.

6.  Use Dimensionals to adhere Layers 3, 4, and 5 to centered over the Ribbons and the two left panels of Layer 2.
