Amazing Day Card Tutorial

I rarely make a card that doesn't have Whisper White or Very Vanilla on the front somewhere, but I somehow did it today.  This design is great for using up more scraps with the Story Label Punch.  Tranquil Tide is one of the colors featured in the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper (DSP), which will also likely be retiring with the new catalog coming out in a couple months.  Designer Series Papers rarely carry over into the new Annual Catalogs as well, so if you're keen on a special pack or two, be sure to contact me with your order before they are gone!

Product of the Week: 2017-2019 In Colors

  This week our Product of the Week is the In Colors that will soon be on their way out.  I'm definitely sad to see a couple of these colors go!  These colors will soon be on a "while supplies last" basis, but for the month of March, they are fully available.  You can get all 5 ink pads in a set, which makes for easy ordering.  I want to be sure YOU get your chance to get them before they are gone and also want to be sure you have some designs to use as well.  Here is a link to some of the In Color products that will be retiring soon.

Incredible Like You Stamp Set

Measurements: (shown for card on right)

Base: Tranquil Tide Cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Share What You Love DSP,
4 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2: Tranquil Tide Cardstock, 4 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Layer 3: Mint Macaron Cardstock, punch out 2 labels using the Story Label Punch
Layer 4: Tranquil Tide Cardstock,
punch out one label using the Story Label Punch
Inside Panel: Whisper White Cardstock,
4" x 5 1/4"

Embellishment: Nature's Twine in Mint Macaron, Faceted Dots in Mint Macaron

Instructions:

1. Stamp "Hope Your Day...." sentiment on Layer 4 using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

2.  Adhere Layer 3 to the back of Layer 4, with one framing the top and one framing the bottom.

3.  Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1 about 1 1/4" from the bottom.

4.  Wrap Layers 1 and 2 with Mint Macaron Nature's Twine about 3 times.  Secure ends to the back using Tear & Tape.

5.  Adhere Layers 1 and 2 to Base.

6.  Adhere Layers 3 and 4 on Layer 2 using Dimensionals.  Then embellish Layer 4 with a few Mint Macaron Faceted Dots.
