Inspired Beauty Card Tutorial

Designer Series Paper (DSP) as a card base?  Why not?  Stampin' Up! makes good quality paper products, and their DSP is no exception.  The Botanical Butterfly DSP isn't a heavy weight paper, but it is good quality and definitely will make decent card bases.  The Share What You Love DSP is a heavier weight DSP and definitely works for card bases as well as boxes and other 3D items.  Add a sentiment and a panel inside to write your message...you're ready to go!

Inspired Beauty Card Tutorial

Part of My Story Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper,
8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Basic Black Cardstock,
1" x 2 3/4"
Layer 2: Balmy Blue Cardstock, 2 1/4" Oval die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies
Inside Panel: Whisper White Cardstock,
4" x 5 1/4"

Embellishments: Grapefruit Grove 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon

Instructions:

1.  Stamp "Here's To Those...." sentiment on Layer 2 using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

2.  Adhere a length of Grapefruit Grove ribbon to the back of Layer 2 so that it has three segments.  Use Mini Glue Dots.

3.  Adhere Layer 2 with Ribbon to Layer 1 using Mini Glue Dots.

4.  Adhere Layers to Base using Dimensionals on the lower-left side.

5.  Adhere Inside Panel to the inside of the card.
