Scrap It Up Card Tutorial

 I have a hard time letting go of pretty pieces of paper, even the scraps.  So I made a video for Facebook Friday to show you some ways that I use up my scraps.  I put the measurements for this first card down below, but the other two cards are addressed more in the video I'm sharing.  Be sure to check out Fair's Craft Lair on Facebook for all the ideas!

I took some time in the video to actually finish this card on camera for you.  Shows a bit of how I design too!

I did not finish this panel that I had started in the video, but wanted to share the finished product with you too.  Punches are a great way to make sentiments stand out, and if the punch is too big, simply add some images.  I spent a bit of time coloring in the petals using a Wink of Stella pen.

Product of the Week: 2017-2019 In Colors

Measurements: (shown for card on right)

Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Basic Black, 4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2: Whisper White Cardstock, 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Layer 3: 17-19 In Color Cardstock Strips, scraps cut into half inch strips

Embellishment: Berry Burst 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon, Frosted and Clear Epoxy Droplets
