Thankful Thursday with Hedgehugs

Today is Special Card Tutorial
Poppy Parade is a stunning color...at least to me.  And it goes amazingly well with Grapefruit Grove, which I didn't anticipate.  This pattern on the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP) is the back side of the mushroom paper, and mimics the dots on the little red mushrooms.  This paper coordinates well with the matching stamp set, which is also on Sale-a-Bration, but I like finding ways to use products with more than one coordinating items, and the Hedgehugs Stamp Set is adorable with this DSP.  Did you find any other stamp sets that you'd like to use this DSP with?

Thankful Thursday
Time to recharge and reset is so important.  I will be attending a Stampin' Up! retreat this weekend in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my mom, and we both are so grateful for the opportunity.  I'll be sharing some of the cool things and fun with you on the Facebook page this weekend so be sure to check in!  How do you rest and recharge?  Do you read a book? Watch movies?  Take baths or long walks?  Or maybe you get creative with stamping or other crafts?  I hope you are able to have some time to rest and recharge this weekend and when you need it.  I'm grateful for the opportunity to spend time recharging with a bunch of crafty friends and family this weekend, and hope to be able to get crafty with you soon!

Product of the Week: Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper
The Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP) is a great pack of paper for any occasion and any season.  It includes three sheets each in four designs.  Each paper has a bold floral design on one side, with a coordinating more subtle patterned design on the other side, giving you 8 patterns to make all sorts of crafty fun!  True to Stampin' Up! quality, this DSP has a good thickness to it, making it great to create 3D items as well.  But it's only available through the end of March.  It is a Sale-a-Bration item too, so you can get it FREE with any $50 order (or get the coordinating stamp set and DSP with a $100 order).  A little note: there are also coordinating framelits that go with the stamp set that you can purchase as well!
