Make It Monday with Lasting Lily

Moments Without Words Card Tutorial
Soft colors of Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam....wait....this sounds familiar....Oh yeah....it's my favorite color combination!  Soft colors are beautiful with the images in this stamp set.  And the Braided Linen Trim adds some great texture to this #simplestamping card.

Product of the Week: Lasting Lily Stamp Set

The Lasting Lily Stamp Set is perfect for creating #simplestamping cards.   So many sentiments, including sympathy sentiments, and large floral images you that let you build a bouquet to fit your fancy.  And now, Stampin' Up! has coordinating framelits available to go with this lovely stamp set.  Best of all, it is a Sale-a-Bration item, which means you can get it FREE with a $100 order!

Sympathy cards are important for family, friends and loved ones.  Last Lily Stamp Set gives several sentiments that fit the needs for sympathy cards, and gives you a chance to make something personal for those you care about too.  I prefer to have a few made up ready to go, so I don't have to think about making one when the need arises.

Lasting Lily Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"

Embellishment: Braided Linen Trim

Instructions:

1.  Stamp large lily twice onto Base with one towards upper-left side and one towards middle-right.  Stamp both in Petal Pink Ink

2.  Stamp choice of stem and leaves for lilies in Soft Sea Foam Ink.  I used thinner stem with small leaf on the left flower, and the larger stem with no leaf on the right.  Then I used the large leaf with the curve on both stems, using the curve on the right stem, then flipping the image and using just the straight part of the leaf on the left stem.  Again, stamp in Soft Sea Foam Ink.

3.  Stamp "For The Moments...." sentiment in the upper-right corner of the Base in Soft Sea Foam Ink.

4.  Tie Braided Linen Trim around Base close to the fold, making a bow in the upper-left corner.
