Sweet Saturday with Part of My Story

Lightly sponging textured surfaces or paper that is embossed can greatly vary the look of your projects.  It's easy to do and really fun too!  If you like to learn through watching it done, be sure to watch my Facebook Live from Friday this past week.  I have three coloring techniques that are sure to help you make your projects stand out.

The Wonderful Romance Stamp Set has three sentiments that are great for many occasions.  It also includes beautiful line-drawn floral images that are excellent for coloring with Stampin' Blends.

Measurements:

Base: Smoky Slate Cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Whisper White Cardstock,
4" x 5 1/4", emboss with Country Floral Embossing Folder
Layer 2: Smoky Slate Cardstock, punch with 2" Circle Punch
Layer 3: Whisper White Cardstock, punch with
 1 3/4" Circle Punch

Embellishments: Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine, Leaves Trinkets

Instructions:

1.  Stamp "The World" sentiment onto Layer 3 with Smoky Slate Ink.

2. Adhere Layer 3 to Layer 2 using Snail.  Adhere Three Leaves Trinkets to Layer 3 using Mini Glue Dots.

3.  Wrap length of Ribbon around Layer 1 two times about 1 1/2" from bottom, adhering to the back of Layer 1.  Take another length of Ribbon and tie a bow around ribbon on Layer about 1" from left edge.

4.  Use a Sponge or Dauber to lightly add Smoky Slate Ink to Layer 1 where the image is raised.  Adhere Layer 1 to Base using Snail.

5.  Adhere Layers 2 and 3 to Layer 1 over the Ribbon to the right of the bow using Dimensionals.
