In Color 3" x 3" Note Card Tutorial

Note cards in cheerful colors are the perfect size to add to any small gift, or even just for giving a quick note to someone.  This cute little flower is from the Tea Together Stamp Set and stamps perfectly with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch.  These little note cards are also a perfect way to use up some scraps.  I don't know about you, but I hate wasting paper.  It's too pretty!  I will state that I've gotten better about not keeping every little piece I cut or punch, but I find it hard to toss scraps when I know that I can punch shapes out of them or use them for small stamping or die cutting.

That's the scrap pile I have that I gathered for my projects this week.  For the first tutorial, I wanted to show you all the colors, so I started with the 1 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  I'll be looking for more creative ways to use some of these up this week.  ;)

In Color 3" x 3" Note Card Tutorial

Tea Together Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Choice of 17-19 In Color Cardstock,
3" x 6", fold at 3"
Layer 1: Same In Color Cardstock as Base, punch a 1 3/8" Scallop Circle
Layer 2: Whisper White Cardstock, punch a 1 1/4" Circle

Embellishment: Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon

Instructions:

1.  Stamp small flower onto Layer 2 using chosen In Color Ink.

2.  Use a Blender Pen to pull color from the stamped image into the petals.  You may opt to add some extra ink from the ink pad by squeezing the ink pad when shut to transfer some ink to the cover, then pick up the ink on the cover.

3.  Wrap a length of Tulle Ribbon around the Base and tack down using a little Snail on the left, bottom front of the card.  You'll hide the ends under the Layers, so you want to tack those down on the front.

4.  Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1 using Snail.  Then adhere them both over the ends of the Tulle Ribbon on the front of the Base using Dimensionals.
