Hello Beautiful Card Tutorial

A new catalog is soon to be revealed on January 3rd and in preparation I'm loading you up with plenty of designs so you can hit the ground stamping!  This week the Product of the Week is the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, which you will be able to get for FREE with any $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration.  Did I mention Sale-a-Bration?  There's an entire brochure full of items that are free with a $50 or $100 purchase, and they coordinate will many of the amazing and beautiful products in the new Occasions Catalog.  The full tutorial is below, but I'll be doing the supply lists later this week.

Hello Beautiful Card Tutorial

Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock,
8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Lemon Lime Twist Card Stock,
5 1/2" x 2 1/4"
Layer 2: Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (coming soon in the Sale-a-Bration brochure), 5 1/2" x 2"
Layer 3: Lemon Lime Twist Card Stock Scrap, punch out 2 small butterflies from the Butterfly Duet Punch (part of the Butterfly Gala Bundle)
Layer 4: Whisper White Card Stock Scrap, punch after stamping with Butterfly Duet Punch, see step 1).
Embellishments: Pearl Basic Jewels, Lemon Lime Twist 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon

Instructions:

1.  Stamp double butterfly outline of your choice on Layer 4 with Gorgeous Grape Ink.  Stamp the matching double butterfly background filler stamp directly over the two butterflies you stamped using Highland Heather.  Punch out both butterflies with the Butterfly Duet Punch.

2.  Stamp "Hello Beautiful" on the lower-right corner of the card Base using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

3.  Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1.  Wrap vertically with Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon, adhering to the back using Tear & Tape or Mini Glue Dots.  Tie a bow with the Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon and adhere over the ribbon added to the Layers on the lower end using Mini Glue Dots.

4.  Adhere Layers 1 and 2 to Base using Snail.  Adhere all 4 butterflies (Layers 3 and 4) to Base on right side above sentiment, with largest butterfly adhered lowest, using Mini Glue dots.  Add Pearls to the middle of each butterfly.

Celebrate Victory Card Tutorial

Around The Corner Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"

Instructions:

1.  Stamp "Celebrate Every..." sentiment in the lower-right side of the Base, about 1" from the edges, in Bermuda Bay Ink.

2.  Stamp striped line design stamp 3 times on either end of the sentiment.   Stamp in Coastal Cabana Ink.

3.  Stamp striped line image 2 times just below the sentiment and stripes already stamped in Granny Apple Green Ink.  These should be half below the sentiment and half below the stripes.

4.  Stamp 2 more striped line images above and offset to the left the Coastal Cabana stripes in Bermuda Bay Ink.  These stripes should extend about half way beyond the Coastal Cabana stripes and can extend off the card as well.

It's Your Day Card Tutorial

Around The Corner Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"

Instructions:

1.  Stamp "It's Your Day" sentiment in the lower-right side of the Base, about 3/4" from the edges, in Melon Mambo Ink.

2.  Stamp square line design stamp 3 times above and to the left of the sentiment.  The first is stamped in the corner of the stamped sentiment.  Stamp in Blushing Bride Ink.

3.  Stamp striped line image 6 times around the images already stamped in Powder Pink Ink.  Three are stamped below or to the right of the sentiment, going up or going across the Base as the sentiment does.  The other three are stamped to the left and above the square line design.

Fanciful Friday with Around the Corner

Green Gumption Card Tutorial

These small flowers can certainly bring a lot of cheer!  I love that they can be used for small, simple projects, or can be used for larger ones when stamped repeatedly.  I must admit, I had a hard time when I started designing the cards for this week's tutorials.  I started with a 1/4 sheet of card stock, just the size of a card front, so I could stamp some samples.  What I finally did after making sample patterns was cut all of them apart and use them on each of the cards you see that have more than one layer.  It took me a while to see that I wanted to showcase each of them, and because of that, I added other colors of card stock to the designs.

Green Gumption Card Tutorial

Around The Corner Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Granny Apple Green Card Stock,
4 1/8" x 3"
Layer 2: Whisper White Card Stock,

4" x 1 1/4"

Instructions:

1.  Stamp 5 flower outlines across Layer 2 in Berry Burst Ink.

2.  Stamp solid flower image that fills the flower outline in each flower on Layer 2 using Flirty Flamingo Ink.

3.  Stamp 4 leaves in between the flowers on Layer 2 using Granny Apple Green Ink.  Place Layer 2 on top of Layer 1 towards the top so you can see where to stamp Step 4.

4. Stamp "You" and "Matter" towards the just below Layer 2 on left side of Layer 1 in Granny Apple Green Ink.

5.  Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1 leaving a thin border around the top edge of Layer 1.  Place both on the bottom of the card Base so you can see where to stamp Step 6.

6.  Stamp stripe image across the Base just above where you will adhere Layers 1 and 2.  Once stamped, adhere Layers to Base.
