Simple Sunday with First Frost

Congrats Card Tutorial

Back to some #simplestamping today with the last blog for First Frost.  The Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper is amazing to design with, but the First Frost Bundle can make some really pretty projects on it's own.  Ok, so I added some Clear Epoxy Droplets to add some bling, but this card certainly doesn't require them!

Product of the Week

The Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP) is delightful, with tons of shimmer on every piece.   Rich shades of purple, blue and green pop with the white and lighter tones.   Bold floral patterns are on one side, and more subtle patterns adorn the back side, pairing perfectly with any papers you choose to use.  This DSP is on the Year-End Closeout and will be gone when it sells out or at the end of the year, so be sure to order yours asap!

Congrats Card Tutorial

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock,
8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Layer 1: Whisper White Card Stock,
5/8" x 2 1/2"

Instructions:

Step 1: Stamp "Congratulations" on Layer 1 in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  Banner cut both ends.

Step 2: Stamp long branch 3-5 times on Base on the left side, making the branches come out from the middle of the card front.  Branch is VERY long, so I pressed down only half the stamp (at an angle) so it would not be longer than I wanted. Repeat on the right side.

Step 3:  Using Mint Macaron Ink, stamp the double branch image towards the top, coming out from the middle.  Stamp the image a second time before re-inking.  Then repeat the same stamping but towards the bottom.

Step 4:  Adhere Layer 1 over the center of the card Base using Dimensionals.  Apply 3 Clear Epoxy Droplets around the ends of the branches.
