Thankful Thursday with Tags and Tidings

Tag-full Trim Garland Tutorial

These adorable tags make beautiful projects, including this garland that you can use to decorate your home, and small tree, or adorn a gift bag.  You can make these using punches or the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.  Either way, you can make plenty of layers to put behind your tags.  Add your choice of embellishments, Rhinestones, Pearls, etc., and your garland will dazzle and sparkle!

    Thankful Thursday

There are so many people who work in professions that are in service to our community.  Firefighters, teachers, police officers are some that come to mind to start, but there are so many who do work that are for the greater good that go unnoticed.  Social workers, utilities workers, healthcare, and so many others.  Today I'm grateful for those who serve our communities: getting power to those who loose it in the middle of the night, those who rescue people when stranded during natural disasters, those who ensure kids have a place to sleep at night, and so many more.  Thank you for your work and dedication.  There is so much that is sacrificed to help those who need it most in our community.  Thank you for all you do!

Tag-full Trim Garland Tutorial
Tags and Tidings Bundle

 For all projects:
Stamp full tag image using Garden Green Ink onto a 4 1/4" x 6" Whisper White Card Stock.  Cut out using the Christmas Tags Thinlits Die.  Using washi tape to hold the die in place will help you line it up well.

Instructions:
1.  Punch out or die cut a variety of circles ranging in size from 1" to 1 1/4" or so.  You can use punches (1", 1 1/8" Scallop, 1 3/8" Scallop) or the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.  Cut out shapes in Cherry Cobbler Card
Stock.

2.  Adhere Tags to various shapes from Step 1 using Snail or Mini Glue Dots.  Use 1/8" Circle Punch to punch holes where tags have holes already if needed, or add a new hole so the assemble piece can be strung onto the garland.  Embellish assembled tags with various embellishments (ei: Frosted and Clear Epoxy Drops, Metallic Pearls, or All Is Bright Paper Clips)

3.  Use Linen Thread to tie assembled tags onto the Garden Green and White Baker's Twine.
