Green Gumption Card Tutorial

These small flowers can certainly bring a lot of cheer!  I love that they can be used for small, simple projects, or can be used for larger ones when stamped repeatedly.  I must admit, I had a hard time when I started designing the cards for this week's tutorials.  I started with a 1/4 sheet of card stock, just the size of a card front, so I could stamp some samples.  What I finally did after making sample patterns was cut all of them apart and use them on each of the cards you see that have more than one layer.  It took me a while to see that I wanted to showcase each of them, and because of that, I added other colors of card stock to the designs.

Green Gumption Card Tutorial

Around The Corner Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Granny Apple Green Card Stock,
4 1/8" x 3"
Layer 2: Whisper White Card Stock,

4" x 1 1/4"

Instructions:

1.  Stamp 5 flower outlines across Layer 2 in Berry Burst Ink.

2.  Stamp solid flower image that fills the flower outline in each flower on Layer 2 using Flirty Flamingo Ink.

3.  Stamp 4 leaves in between the flowers on Layer 2 using Granny Apple Green Ink.  Place Layer 2 on top of Layer 1 towards the top so you can see where to stamp Step 4.

4. Stamp "You" and "Matter" towards the just below Layer 2 on left side of Layer 1 in Granny Apple Green Ink.

5.  Adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1 leaving a thin border around the top edge of Layer 1.  Place both on the bottom of the card Base so you can see where to stamp Step 6.

6.  Stamp stripe image across the Base just above where you will adhere Layers 1 and 2.  Once stamped, adhere Layers to Base.
