Wag On Card Tutorial
Heartfelt cards don't have to look like Valentines and the Happy Tails Bundle gives you those heartfelt sentiments with paws of approval. The paw print stamp makes it easy to create borders or backgrounds and the cute little heart from the Dog Builder Punch can punch out tons of little hearts with just small strips of paper. Happy Tails Stamp Set
Measurements:
Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Grapefruit Grove Cardstock, 5 1/2" x 4"
Layer 2: 18-20 In Color DSP in Grapefruit Grove, 5 1/2" x 1 7/8" (with white stripes)
Layer 3: 18-20 In Color DSP in Grapefruit Grove, 5 1/2" x 1 7/8" (with tone on tone stripes)
Layer 4: Whisper White Cardstock, 5 1/2" x 1 1/2"
Layer 5: Calypso Coral Cardstock, punch out two small hearts from the Dog Builder Punch
Embellishments: Faceted Dots in Grapefruit Grove, Wink of Stella
Instructions:
1. Stamp "A Best Friend..." sentiment on the middle of Layer 4 using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
2. Stamp small pay print repeatedly on Layer 4 to the right and left of the sentiment, stamping in two rows using Crumb Cake Ink.
3. Adhere Layer 1 to Base using Snail.
4. Adhere Layers 2 and 3 to Base using Snail, with Layer 2 above Layer 3.
5. Adhere Layer 4 to Base over the middle of Layers 2 and 3 using Snail.
6. Use Wink of Stella to add sparkle to the two small hearts which are Layer 5, and adhere them just to the right and left of the sentiment on Layer 4 using Mini Dimensionals.
7. Embellish Layer 4 with Grapefruit Grove Faceted Dots.
