Needlepoint Nook Basket Tutorial

Making something special to give to a friend or loved one is always a unique and loving touch you can give to your gifting.  I love making cards and sharing them, but making gift packaging is another fun way to go beyond cards.  And it doesn't have to be complicated to be caring either.  This basket is one of the easiest I've learned how to make, and I'll show you how in the YouTube tutorial below.  As always, all the measurements are here too!  I would love to see your creations too, so please share your projects with our community on Facebook too!

Product of the Week: Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper

This is one paper I couldn't wait to get my hands on!  The Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper (DSP) is vibrant with many different colors that coordinate with the paper.   It also features photo-realistic prints that look just like embroidery.  Each paper has an embroidered pattern on one side, and then stitched line work with a solid-color background on the reverse.  Perfect for spring and floral paper crafting, but the line work is excellent for more masculine needs too.

Base: Crushed Curry Cardstock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", 2 1/4" x 2 3/4", round all corners using the Detailed Trio Punch

Layer 1: Blushing Bride Cardstock, 1/2" x 2 1/4"
Layer 2: Tranquil Tide Cardstock scraps for flowers to punch using the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack
Layer 3: Balmy Blue Cardstock scraps for flowers to punch using the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack
