More on Monarchs, my first caterpillar we kept turned into a beautiful butterfly and my entire family watched it transform with me.  We learned that they only eat milkweed plants, which is also where they lay their eggs.  We had to do much of our research in our reference books, because the internet wasn't available yet.  I remember my mom transporting the lid with the chrysalis to a coffee pot so we could all see the beautiful orange and black butterfly emerge.  It took almost 24 hours to dry out and let it's wings stiffen for flying, but we did get to see it take off.

Product of the Week: Beauty Abounds Bundle

The Beauty Abounds Bundle certainly plays to the Monarch's beautiful wing design in the framelits dies.  There are also a couple small stamps of butterflies in the stamp set, but I love the fact that there are matching floral images and great background textures in the stamp set.  There are sooooo many cute little butterflies in the framelits!  There are 10 of the same, tiniest butterflies so you can cut out many of them at the same time.  There are also duplicates of several other butterflies in the framelits set, as well as three butterfly dies that can be layered together or used separately.
