Pretty In Pink Wishes Card Tutorial
Every once in a while I have a great card design in my head that I try to get out in paper and it just doesn't quite work. This is what I was able to settle on, but it isn't quite right to me. What do you think? I think it needs something, or needs a change. I would love to have your input. I love the colors: Very Vanilla, Petal Pink, and Flirty Flamingo. I just feel like something is missing! We have so many creative people in the Lair too, so jump on my Facebook Page and give me your ideas!

Pretty In Pink Wishes Card Tutorial
Forever Lovely Stamp SetMeasurements:
Base: Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock,
8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock,
5" x 3 3/4"
Layer 2: Petal Pink Cardstock,
4 7/8" x 3 5/8"
Layer 3: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, 3" x 3"
Layer 4: Very Vanilla Cardstock, 1 5/8" x 2 1/2"
Embellishment: Very Vanilla Lace Trim
Instructions:
8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock,
5" x 3 3/4"
Layer 2: Petal Pink Cardstock,
4 7/8" x 3 5/8"
Layer 3: Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, 3" x 3"
Layer 4: Very Vanilla Cardstock, 1 5/8" x 2 1/2"
Embellishment: Very Vanilla Lace Trim
Instructions:
1. Stamp "Wishing You..." on Layer 4 using Petal Pink Ink.
2. Use the floral corner die on two opposing corners of Layer 3 to cut out detail. Line the die up in the corner of Layer 3 almost touching the edges. Die will cut out the floral image and give you two lines extending from the flowers. Use your Stampin' Trimmer to cut down Layer 3 following the lines from the die cut flowers.
3. Adhere Layers 1 and 2 together. Wrap with a length of Lace Trim and secure ends on the back of Layer 1 using Mini Glue Dots. Adhere Layers 1 and 2 to Base.
4. Adhere Layer 4 to Layer 3 using Snail. Adhere both Layers on the left side of Layer 2 using Dimensionals, and centered over the Lace Trim.
5. Cut about 8" of Lace Trim and tie bow around length of Trim adhered to the card to the right of Layers 3 and 4.
