Wonderful Wednesday with Sweetest Thing

Sweet Treat Holder Tutorial
Sweet Cups are a part of the How Sweet It Is product suite and are super cute when all decked up!  They would be great to serve some sweet treats at a party, or perfect for small gifts to give.

 Decorating them is fun and easy.  I've even included a template for you to use to make your designs even easier.

Product of the Week: How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper
This bright and cheerful designer series paper is made of all sorts of fun sweets and great patterns for many occasions.
Use the paper for backgrounds, or even cut out some of the sweet jars using the coordinating dies from the Jar of Sweets Framelits Dies to make focal pieces for your designs.

Measurements:

Base: Sweet Cup
Layer 1: How Sweet It Is DSP,
11" x 3 1/2" (use template to cut out wrap for cup)
Layer 2: Melon Mambo Cardstock, die cut with largest scallop circle from Layering Circles Dies
Layer 3: How Sweet It Is DSP, die cut with largest regular circle from Layering Circles Dies
Layer 4: Melon Mambo Cardstock, die cut TWO large labels from the Jar of Sweets Dies
Layer 5: Whisper White Cardstock, die cut ONE large label from the Jar of Sweets Dies

Embellishments: Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon, Daffodil Delight Double-Stitched Ribbon, Glitter Enamel Dots

Template for cup wrap:

Template is to scale on a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper.



Instructions:

1.  Stamp Large Label outline onto Layer 5 using Pineapple Punch Ink.  Also stamp "Sweets for You" sentiment in the middle of Layer 5 using Melon Mambo Ink.

2. Cut out and trace the cup wrap template onto Layer 1.  Then cut out Layer 1 and adhere it around the cup using Mini Glue Dots.

3.  Adhere Layers 2 and 3 to the cup lid using Snail.

4.  Adhere a folded length of Daffodil Delight Ribbon (about 6") onto the cup lid in the center using Tear & Tape.

5.  Adhere Whisper White Ribbon, then Daffodil Delight Ribbon, around the outer edge of the cup lid using Tear & Tape.  Tie a bow in the Daffodil Delight Ribbon and adhere over the seam of the ribbon on the edge of the cup lid using Mini Glue Dots.

6.  Adhere the two pieces of Layer 4 to the back of Layer 5 with one framing the top edge and one framing the bottom edge of Layer 5 using Snail.

7.  Adhere Layers 4 and 5 to top of cup lid using Dimensionals.
