Foxy Friday with the Cute Crew Punch Box

Happy Birthday Card Tutorial
This friendly little fox is perfect for sharing a birthday message.  The fox is colored using the Watercolor Pencil set, with colors Early Espresso, Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry.  By mixing those three colors, you'll end up with something very close to the Berry Burst in the Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I made this card with Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, but it is retiring and is now not available, so if you have it, great!  Use it!  If you don't have it, you can substitute Granny Apple Green Cardstock.  I'm including it on the supply list below.

This beautiful tin comes with a stamp set that has 6 mini images and sentiments, a block for you to stamp those images, an ink spot for stamping, a punch that coordinates with all the stamps, and 4 watercolor pencils, including one color of pencil that is exclusive to this box: Call Me Clover.

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Narrow Notecard and Envelop
Layer 1: Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, 4 1/2" x 1/2"
Layer 2: Animal Expedition DSP, 4 1/2" x 2"
Layer 3: Whisper White Cardstock, punch 1 tag shape from the Cute Crew Tag Punch

Embellishments: Berry Burst Metallic-Edged Ribbon

Instructions:

1.  Stamp "Happy Birthday" image onto Layer 3 using the Black Ink Spot (or use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink).

2. Color the stamped image on Layer 4 using the watercolor pencils from the kit (or use the set of Watercolor pencils from Stampin' Up!).  You can use a Blender Pen to blend the colors from the pencils together a bit.

3.  Adhere Layers 1 and 2 to Base.

4.  Wrap seam between Layer 1 and 2 with a length of Berry Burst Metallic-Edged Ribbon, adhering ends to the front where you'd like Layer 3 to be placed (you'll hide the ends under Layer 3).  Adhere with Mini Glue Dots.

5.  Adhere Layer 3 over the ends of the Berry Burst Ribbon using Dimensionals.
