Too Cute Tuesday with Cute Crew Punch Box

For You Card Tutorial
Tags can create borders easily in so many ways.  Using 4 of these cute tags shapes punched out from the punch in the Cute Crew Punch Box, you can adhere them to the back of a layer and keep the scallops peeking out in order to make a scallop border down one side.  Of course you could use more tags to create another border down the other side as well.  The Leaf Ribbon also echoes the leaf pattern in this stamp really well and makes a fun addition to the Narrow Note Card.  Did you know the Narrow Note Cards are retiring?

Cute Crew Punch Box

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Narrow Notecard and Envelop
Layer 1: Real Red Cardstock, punch 4 tag shapes from the Cute Crew Tag Punch
Layer 2: Animal Expedition DSP, 4 1/2" x 2"
Layer 3: Real Red Cardstock, Punch one tag shape from the Cute Crew Tag Punch
Layer 4: Whisper White Cardstock, Punch one tag shape from the Cute Crew Tag Punch

Embellishments: Leaf Ribbon

Instructions:

1.  Stamp "For You" image onto Layer 4 using the Black Ink Spot (or use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink).

2. Color the stamped image on Layer 4 using the watercolor pencils from the kit (or use the set of Watercolor pencils from Stampin' Up!).  You can use a Blender Pen to blend the colors from the pencils together a bit.

3.  Adhere Layer 3 to the back of Layer 4 using Snail, offset so that Layer 4 creates a border on Layer 4 that is to the left and top.

4.  Adhere all pieces for Layer 1 to the back of Layer 2 using Snail.  Adhere so the scallop edge of each tag creates a border for Layer 2 down one side.

5.  Adhere a folded length of the Leaf Ribbon to the middle of Layer 2 using Mini Glue Dots.

6.  Adhere Layers 3 and 4 over the Leaf Ribbon on Layer 2 using Dimensionals.
