Made To Bloom Card 3 Tutorial

Today is the final card in this 3-card series which started on Saturday using a few components from the Made To Bloom All-Inclusive Card Kit.  I simply added the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards to the kit and started designing for some miniature merriment.  Most of the floral components were too large for the Narrow Note Cards, so I decided to cut them into thirds at the start.  Using smaller layers and pieces is a great way to add a lot of interest to your designs, and for any size project too!

How To Cut:

I started with one of the flower elements and cut it into three pieces.

I then took one of the card bases and cut it in half down the score line.  Once cut, I took one side and cut it lengthwise first at 2 1/2".  Then I cut the 2 1/2" piece down to 4".  This made it the perfect size to fit onto one of the Narrow Note Cards.  Full tutorial below!

These note cards are a perfect size for creating simple or fancy cards.  They come with matching envelops, which means all you have to do is the decorating and your done!

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Narrow Notecard and Envelop

Layer 1: Choice of Card Base from kit, cut one piece to 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"
Layer 2: Pink Scallop Piece, cut once to make one scallop piece 2 1/2" wide
Layer 3:  Floral Component from kit, cut in three pieces, choose one (small end piece was used for this one)

Embellishments: Pearls in the kit!

Instructions:

1.  Stamp "Congratulations" sentiment on the lower left side of Layer 2 using the Blackberry Bliss Ink Spot from kit.

2. Adhere Layer 1 to Base on the left end, and Layer 2 to Base on the right end, both using Snail.  Scallops of Layer 2 should overlap Layer

3.  Adhere Layer 3 to the upper right corner of the Base using Snail or Dimensionals.

4.  Embellish with Pearls from kit on Layer 1 along the edge of the scallop layer.
