Sweet Sunday with Tea Together

Handmade Mother's Day Card Tutorial
Fancy designer series papers are so much fun to use, but did you know you can make them yourself too?  Whether you love to color your own, or love to stamp fun patterns, there are easy ways to make your own designer series paper.  It also adds a handmade touch to the projects you make and share with those you love.
I prefer to make larger pieces of designer series paper and then cut them up to use on my cards or projects.  This particular piece cut out about 8 strips that I was able to turn into cards.  I was creating the same design for all 8 cards, but I could have opted for a "One Sheet Wonder" template and make a whole bunch of different card designs at once.  I also love to color using the Blends, but if coloring isn't your thing, you can ink up stamps with colored ink instead.  Also using stamps with more solid images will help color your paper more quickly.
