You Make Me Happy Card Tutorial

Yippee!!!!!  I made it to the boxes where my Big Shot was stored!  Needless to say I went a little...uh...overboard with my first go around.  The Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies are so pretty, I just had to showcase them (and I mean a lot of them on one card)!  They are a part of the Meant To Be Cling Bundle had have so much to offer.  One of my favorite things is that there are two dies that don't actually cut out a shape: they create a stitched heart with little dashes that cut for a background or texture.

Every day I'm finding little things that make our new home and community special.  We have had a lot of changes over the last couple months, but I am so impressed by the staff at the new school.  I went in to make sure our girl had enough money for lunch and everyone on the staff was kind and so helpful.  This school district may be smaller than many, but they try to offer so many activities and support systems for their students as well.  I am so grateful that they will be a part of our lives.

You Make Me Happy Card Tutorial

Meant To Be Cling Bundle

Measurements:

Base: Melon Mambo Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Die Cuts:

Flirty Flamingo Card Stock:
5 1/2" edge strip from die
Small scalloped heart
Small hearts from the heart cluster die

Rich Razzleberry Card Stock:
Large scalloped heart outline (you'll have an extra solid heart from this die too)
Small hearts from the heart cluster die

Powder Pink Card Stock:
Medium lace heart die
Small hearts from the heart cluster die

Embellishment: Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon

Instructions:

1.  Use the two stitched hearts that do not cut out shapes to add hearts to the Base: large heart on top-left, medium heart on bottom-right.

2.  Adhere scalloped edge strip on left side of card about 1/2" from edge.

3.  Stamp "You Make Me Happy" sentiment on the bottom between heart and scallop strip using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

4.  Adhere large Rich Razzleberry heart over the large stitched heart on the Base.  Adhere Powder Pink lace heart inside Rich Razzleberry heart.  Adhere two small hearts of choice (shown are Flirty Flamingo and Rich Razzleberry) inside the Powder Pink lace heart.

5.  Adhere Flirty Flamingo small scalloped heart inside the medium stitched heart in bottom-right of Base.  Adhere one Powder Pink small heart on top of Flirty Flamingo small scalloped heart.

6.  Adhere small hearts in groups of two on Base in top-right and mid-right side.  Adhere one small heart to the right of the sentiment.

7.  Tie a knot in the Rich Razzleberry Velvet ribbon and adhere on scalloped strip next to sentiment using Mini Glue Dots.
