Fun Friday with Lovely Lattice

Brusho and Spritz Card Tutorial

Brusho first or spritz first?  Up to you!  And why not both?  They both make lovely texture for your cards.  Today's tutorial is embossed first with White Stampin' Emboss Powder for both cards so the lattice image will remain white when color is applied.  Then one was spritzed with water first and then added Brusho Crystals.  The other was sprinkled with Brusho first and then spritzed.

Brusho is amazing for adding color.  It comes with 5 different colors that you can use countless ways to create fun effects.  It is super easy to use: poke a hole in the top of the cap and sprinkle like a salt or pepper shaker.  Use a little Washi Tape to cover the hole when you're done!

I will be doing a Facebook Live soon to share this technique with you, along with Thursday's tutorial as well.  Unfortunately, I had some family needs come up that will keep me from doing my Facebook Friday today, so I'll be on this weekend some time to share these tutorials with you.

Brusho and Spritz Card Tutorial
Lovely Lattice Stamp Set

Measurements:
Base: Lovely Lipstick Card Stock,
5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Shimmery White Cardstock
4" x 5 1/4"
Inside Panel: Whisper White Card Stock, 4" x 5 1/4"

~I trimmed down one of the Layer 1 panels a little less (4 1/8" x 5 3/8") because I like the edges of it better.  You may choose to trim off more of Layer 1 if you end up with more white space around the edges, but of course, that is up to you!

Instructions:

1.  Stamp lattice image on Layer 1 in Versamark Ink.  Emboss using White Stampin' Emboss Powder and Heat Tool.

2.  Sprinkle with Brusho in Brilliant Red and Gamboge.

3.  Spritz with water using a Stampin' Spritzer until desired effect.  Spraying the back with a bit of water first will also help to keep the curling down.  Air dry or use a Heat Tool to dry.

4.  Adhere Layer 1 to Base using Liquid Glue.

~Reverse spritzing and Brusho to achieve a slightly different effect.
