Thankful Thursday with Lovely Lattice

Watercolor Thank You Card Tutorial
Watercoloring with Aqua Painters makes for great fun and super easy projects.  This card only uses two colors of ink: Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay.  Simply put one drop of reinker in each color on a Silicone Craft Sheet and pick up some color with the Aqua Painter.  The Aqua Painter will give you plenty of water when it is filled up so you don't have to add water to your ink.  Aqua Painters can be cleaned out by simply squeezing water out until the color is gone, or wiping off until it has no color.  They also can be filled with colors so you can use them as paint pens.  Regardless of how you choose to use them, start with a little water and be sure to stamp your image in StazOn Ink first.  StazOn isn't water-based so it won't bleed, and because it is so steadfast, it will stain your stamps.  With red rubber, you can use StazOn Cleaner to remove the remaining ink, but be sure to stick with Stampin' Mist for your photopolymer stamps so the integrity of the stamps is kept.  (StazOn and photopolymer don't play well together).

Unsure how to use the Aqua Painters?  Never fear!  I'll be showing you how on my Facebook Live on Friday!  Be sure to tune in at 1pm, or find my video when you're ready.  It's super easy and I'll show you how!

Thankful Thursday
Being in a new/old house definitely changes your perspective on some things.  One thing that I find I'm appreciating more recently is keeping warm.  Old houses are definitely more drafty.  We knew this would be a thing to work with when we moved in, but having an appreciation for blankets, good slippers and socks, warm clothing, and my absolute favorite heating pad has become a significant point of gratitude for me.  I'm always cold in winter.  Having warmth is a basic need for all of us, and I definitely am giving thanks this week for the technology and belongings I have that help keep me warm, safe and happy.
