YouTube Tuesday: One Sheet Wonder with Garden Impressions
Garden Impressions is one of my favorites in the Annual Catalog from Stampin' Up! And I love the Designer Series Paper (DSP) so much that I wanted to show you several ways in which to use it. A "One Sheet Wonder" uses one sheet of DSP cut into several pieces and used on separate projects. I have designed 6 projects to make from just one sheet of DSP. All the measurements, instructions, and supplies are listed at the end of this post, so all you need to do is get your supplies and follow along!

This is the template for cutting the 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
Card 1: Thank you
Base: So Saffron Card Stock, 3" x 6" scored and folded at 3", fold goes to the top
Layer 1: Melon Mambo Card Stock, 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Layer 2: Garden Impressions DSP 2" x 2"
Embellishment: Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine
1. Stamp "Thank You" in bottom right corner of Base using Night of Navy Ink.
2. Adhere Layers 1 and 2 to Base with squares offset. Wrap Base with Baker's Twine and tie a bow on the left side.
Card 2: Thank you (again)
Layer 1: Melon Mambo Card Stock, 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Layer 2: Calypso Coral Card Stock, 2 1/4" x 2 1/4"
Layer 3: Garden Impressions DSP, 2" circle
Layer 4: So Saffron Card Stock, 2 1/2" x 3/4"
Embellishment: Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine
1. Stamp "Thank You" on to Layer 4. Banner cut each end.
2. Adhere Layers 1, 2, and 3 to Base with squares offset. Wrap Base with Baker's Twine and tie a bow on the left side.
3. Adhere Layer 4 to Base below Baker's Twine using Dimensionals.
1. Stamp "Thank You" on to Layer 4. Banner cut each end.
2. Adhere Layers 1, 2, and 3 to Base with squares offset. Wrap Base with Baker's Twine and tie a bow on the left side.
3. Adhere Layer 4 to Base below Baker's Twine using Dimensionals.
Card 3: There's so Much to Love About You
Layer 1: Melon Mambo Card Stock, 4 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Layer 2: So Saffron Card Stock, 4 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Layer 3: Garden Impressions DSP, 4" x 3" with 2" circle punched out towards one side
Embellishment: Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine
1. Adhere Layers 2 and 3. Stamp "There's So Much..." in 2" circle window. Wrap with Baker's Twine below 2: circle and tie a bow on the left side.
2. Adhere Layer 1 to Base. Adhere Layers 2 and 3 to Base using Dimensionals.
1. Adhere Layers 2 and 3. Stamp "There's So Much..." in 2" circle window. Wrap with Baker's Twine below 2: circle and tie a bow on the left side.
2. Adhere Layer 1 to Base. Adhere Layers 2 and 3 to Base using Dimensionals.
Card 4: Kindness Changes Everything
Layer 1: Calypso Coral Card Stock, 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Layer 2: Garden Impressions DSP, 4" x 3"triangle
Layer 3: So Saffron Card Stock, 2 1/2 x 1 3/4"
Embellishment: Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine
1. Adhere Layers 1 and 2. Wrap with Baker's Twine on long side and tie bow about 1 1/4" from left. Adhere to Base.
2. Stamp "Kindness" sentiment on Layer 3 and adhere to Base using Dimensionals.
1. Adhere Layers 1 and 2. Wrap with Baker's Twine on long side and tie bow about 1 1/4" from left. Adhere to Base.
2. Stamp "Kindness" sentiment on Layer 3 and adhere to Base using Dimensionals.
Card 5: So Happy About Your Happy News
Layer 1: Melon Mambo Card Stock, 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Layer 2: Garden Impressions DSP, 4" x 3"triangle
Layer 3: So Saffron Card Stock, 2 1/2 x 7/8"
Embellishment: Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine
1. Adhere Layers 1 and 2 with Triangle in top left. Wrap with Baker's Twine on long side and tie bow about in center about an inch from left. Adhere to Base on the 2 1/8" front side only.
2. Stamp "So Happy..." sentiment on Layer 3 and banner cut each end. Adhere to Base on bottom right using Dimensionals.
1. Adhere Layers 1 and 2 with Triangle in top left. Wrap with Baker's Twine on long side and tie bow about in center about an inch from left. Adhere to Base on the 2 1/8" front side only.
2. Stamp "So Happy..." sentiment on Layer 3 and banner cut each end. Adhere to Base on bottom right using Dimensionals.
Card 6: If Flowers Were Hugs...
Base: So Saffron Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4", fold goes to the top
Layer 1: Calypso Coral Card Stock, 5 1/4" x 4"
Layer 2: Garden Impressions DSP, 4" x 2"
Layer 3: So Saffron Card Stock, 3 1/4" x 7/8"
Embellishment: Night of Navy Medium Baker's Twine
1. Adhere Layers 1 and 2 with DSP about a 1/2" from left. Wrap with Baker's Twine from top to bottom and tie bow just below center about an inch from left. Adhere to Base.
2. Stamp "If Flowers..." sentiment on Layer 3 and banner cut each end. Adhere to Base on bottom with left side about at Bow using Dimensionals.
1. Adhere Layers 1 and 2 with DSP about a 1/2" from left. Wrap with Baker's Twine from top to bottom and tie bow just below center about an inch from left. Adhere to Base.
