Especially for You Card Tutorial Using Botanical Bliss

I am currently participating in a creative challenge and thought this would make a wonderful tutorial to share.  This card is made with the Botanical Bliss bundle in 2018-19 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog.  The colors are simple, and could easily be changed based on your personal preferences.  What makes this card have so much depth is Vellum.  Vellum adds such a great, soft look to your projects, but it requires a little know-how when it comes to making it stick.  The trick is hiding your adhesive.  Also, Vellum and liquid adhesives don't mix, so stick with Snail, Tear & Tape or Mini Glue Dots.

Especially for You Card Tutorial:

Base: Gray Granite Card Stock cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/2"

Layer 1: Whisper White Card Stock cut to 5" x 3 3/4" 

Layer 2: Vellum cut to 5 1/4" x 4"

Layer 3: Gray Granite Card Stock cut to 4 1/2" x 2", cut both ends with floral Botanical Bliss Die

Layer 4:  Cut 2-Petal Pink Card Stock branches from Botanical Bliss Die

Layer 5: Tea Room Ribbon, 5"

Layer 6: Vellum Oval, cut using Layering Oval Framelits, 2nd smallest regular oval die, about 2" in length

Layer 7: Whisper White Card Stock, cut with smallest die from layering oval, about 1 3/4" in length

1.  Stamp Layer 1 with the curved floral branch using Petal Pink Ink Pad.  It is easiest to start stamping from the middle.  Assemble on to card Base.

2.  Stamp "Especially for You" onto Layer 7.  Adhere to Layer 6.

3.  Adhere Layer 3 onto Layer 2 toward the bottom left corner using Tear & Tape.  Once adhered, put Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the vellum UNDER the Gray Granite piece only.  This will keep your adhesive from showing through the vellum.  Adhere to card Base.

4.  Run a small amount of Snail or Tear & Tape across the middle of the Layer 3 between the floral dies.  Adhere both Petal Pink floral dies onto Layer 3, one aiming up and left, one aiming down and right.  Also adhere Layer 5 folded and slightly angled to the left.

5.  Adhere Layers 6 and 7 to the middle of Layer 3 over the adhesive using Dimensionals.

6.  Embellish with Pearl Basic Jewels.  Under Pearls and Petal Pink dies, you can add Mini Glue Dots to adhere the Vellum (Layer 2) to the base, rolling the Mini Glue Dots up.
