Masculine Monday with Free Cake Stamp Set
It's Monday, and I love alliteration, so for today it is Masculine Monday. Well....at least I thought my card was "masculine" until my lovely husband saw it! At least he told me it was neutral enough for any gender, so I'm on the right track, haha.
This card is made using the Free Cake Stamp Set and the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (DSP). I LOVE the fact that this DSP is so versatile and this card uses only one piece. Wait? One? But I see two designs? Yes, that is because this Stampin' Up DSP is double sided. It was cut on a diagonal and the bottom section flipped, which creates the interesting lines on this card.
The Tailored Tag Punch is used on three different colors and creates a top and bottom border to the sentiment. Add some Metallic Pearls for a little shine and this card is ready for any birthday occasion.

Free Cake Stamp Set
Base: Whisper White THICK Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded at 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Pool Party Card Stock 5 1/4" x 4"
Layer 2 and 3: Twinkle Twinkle DSP, cut to 5 1/8" x 3 7/8", cut on diagonal to create to pieces
Layer 4 and 5: Pool Party and Night of Navy Card Stock, punched with the Tailored Tag Punch
Layer 6: Whisper White Card Stock, punched with Tailored Tag Punch
Layer 6: Whisper White Card Stock, punched with Tailored Tag Punch
Instructions
1. Stamp Happy Birthday on Layer 6 in Night of Navy Ink. Stamp the Star Burst image on top and bottom of Happy Birthday sentiment in Pool Party Ink.
2. Adhere Layer 6 to Layers 5 and 4. The Pool Party tag framing the top of the sentiment and the Night of Navy tag framing the bottom of the sentiment.
3. Adhere Layer 1 to the Base. Adhere Layers 2 and 3 to Layer 1, Night of Navy stripe DSP side on top and the Pool Party star DSP on the bottom. This will leave a triangle of Pool Party Card Stock showing through.
4. Where the Pool Party triangle of Card Stock is, adhere Layers 4, 5, and 6 using Dimensionals.
5. Embellish the diagonal lines with gold Metallic Pearls. Add 2 gold Metallic Pearls above and below the Happy Birthday at the center of each Star Burst.
