Sincerely Santa Advent Calendar Tutorial Part 2
Today’s additions to the Advent calendar are mainly focused on the shiny embellishments. I added a Snowflake Trinket from the Snowflake Showcase, which are only available this month, to add extra bling to the snowflake envelop. Not up for a whole Advent calendar? These envelops can easily be switched out for 2” x 2” card stock squares and you can make a smaller sampler with these same designs. Want to design your own fun? Thankful Thursday
My Thankful Thursday post is being written in the dark…on Wednesday evening…with the power out in the house. Not sure what happened, but a significant portion of our neighborhood is without power tonight. I’ve lit a bunch of candles so we can see, and I’m suddenly reminded how fortunate we are to have all the modern amenities that we have. While the house is without power, I can still use my computer because it has a battery. And while I’m not able to type directly to my blog, I am able to save my text to my computer for when I can transfer my text. Our technology has come so far, and the conveniences we have are so many. While I’m unsure how long this outage will last, I’m grateful for all the things we have that make our lives easier, convenient, safe, and comfortable. Hopefully, I’ll be posting on time! ;)
