Simple Sunday with Floral Statements

Thanks Card Tutorial

I have a confession: I messed up this card, but can you figure out what happened?  I don't believe there are mistakes really, just happy accidents.  And when happy accidents happen, you get to think outside the box and make creative decisions that you might not have ever thought about had that happy accident not occurred.  I'm pretty sure this card would have been completely different had I not found myself with this creative challenge.  Find out what I did in the tutorial below.

Floral Statements Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base:  Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Layer 1: Shaded Spruce Card Stock, 5 1/4" x 4"
Layer 2: Shimmery White Card Stock, 5" x 3 3/4"
Embellishments: Frosted and Clear Epoxy Drops

Instructions

1.  Stamp Sentiment on Layer 2 in Berry Burst Ink.  (My Berry Burst Ink Pad looked like it inked my stamp well, but it did not stamp well at all)

2.  Using the Blender Pen, color the flowers and the letters by just blending the ink from the stamped image.  (Blended the ink from stamping so that it filled in the spots that were not stamped well)

3.  Using the Blender Pen, color the leaves in with Shaded Spruce Ink.  Press some ink from the ink pad into the cover of the ink pad and use the ink from the cover of the ink pad to be sure not to dilute your ink pad!  It will blend slightly with the Berry Burst on the card to create some shading.  (Because I blended the Berry Burst, the card needed another color to help distinguish the images from one another.  I originally hadn't planned to use another color)

4.  Adhere Layer 1 and Layer 2 onto Base.

5.  Add Frosted Drops to bottom left and top right corners around the sentiment.
