In-Color Thank You Card Tutorial

In-Colors are the color updates that Stampin' Up! uses to keep the color palette up-to-date and fresh.  There are always two sets of In-Colors and they each stay for two years, but each year one will rotate out and we will get a new one to design with.  What's really nice is that you can purchase the In-Colors in sets, so if you are new to stamping and want to get a good selection of color, starting with the In-Colors is an easy way to get a good start.  This card is also easy to create, using the same color ink, but stamping off before stamping the background image so that it is lighter.   This is also the design I used for my swaps for On-Stage.  Curious what swaps are or want to join in?  Ask me how!

Love What You Do Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Layer 1:  2018-2020 In-Color Card Stock,
4 1/8" x 3 1/8"

Layer 2:  2018-2020 In-Color Card Stock,
 4" x 3"
Layer 3:   2018-2020 In-Color Card Stock,
4 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Layer 4:  Whisper White Card Stock,  4" x 3"
Embellishment: In-Color 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon Bow

Instructions:

1.  Stamp large background image off (to remove some ink)and then stamp onto Layer 4 on the left-top side in your choice of In-Color Ink.

2.  On Layer 4, stamp 3 flower image towards the top-left side of Layer 4 in Memento Ink.  Stamp "thank you" sentiment onto Layer 4 on the bottom-right corner of Layer 4.

3.  Stamp small background 1/2 inch dot image over each of the three flowers in the same In-Color Ink from Step One.

4.  Adhere Layers 1 and 2 across bottom of Base using Snail.  Adhere Layers 3 and 4 together and adhere to Base in the center of the card.  Adhere Bow over the flower stems using a Mini Glue Dot.
