Flowery Gift Bag Tutorial
This floral stamp set, Happiness Surrounds, looks lovely with the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper (DSP). And who doesn't need gift bags from time to time? The Snowfall Thinlits Dies beautifully cut out the floral and snowflake images in the stamp set. The gift bag is made from one sheet of DSP, folded over at the top to show off the 2nd design on the back of the paper. I love this floral design, but there are so many beautiful patterns that any of the papers would make an adorable gift bag!
Thankful Thursday
The more I spend time with friends and family, the more we discover each others talents and passions, and we then love to find ways to help each other learn, grow, and thrive each day. Today I'm thankful for the talents and passions that allow each of us to shine. Thank you for sharing them with the world!
Just a few more days to get these wonderful coordinated products in the Snowflake Showcase. The Snowfall Thinlits Dies coordinate with BOTH stamp sets and will cut out many images from both the Snow is Glistening and Happiness Surrounds Stamp Sets. Many of these images are also usable year-round, creating floral images as well as the snowflake images. Order yours today before they are gone!

Embellishment: Pearl Basic Jewels, Black 1/8" Cord
Instructions:
Tag and Flowers:
1. Stamp "Here's to New..." sentiment on Layer 1 with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
2. Stamp Striped Flower in Petal Pink Ink on Layer 3. Also stamp small solid flower on Layer 3 but use Mint Macron Ink. Die cut both with coordinating dies.
3. Adhere Layer 2 on left top and bottom of Layer 1 using Mini Glue Dots. Adhere Large and Small flowers stacked on the left side of Layer 1 over the ends of the leaves, adhere onto Layer 1 using Mini Glue Dots. Adhere one Pearl in the middle of the flowers.
Gift Bag Instructions
1. Using Simply Scored board to score the Base. Start with the 12" side going across the board, and score at 2" and at 10".
2. Using Simply Scored board, score the shorter side (11 1/2" side) of the Base at 3 1/2", 5 1/2", 9", and 11". Use a Bone Folder to crease all scores.
5. Fold over the top 2" flap so it is on the outside of the bag. Keep the little rectangle up so it doesn't get caught. Use Tear N' Tape on the long strip to adhere to the opposite side. You can easily do this by folding the paper flat on the 9" mark, add the adhesive to the strip on the end, then fold the 3 1/2" mark over on top and it should line up well.
6. Use Tear N Tape to adhere the small notched rectangle from Step 4 under the end of the adjoining corner.

3. Orient your paper with the scores from Step 2 going up and down and decide which will be the top. Then cut out the notches on the bottom of each score line going up to the score 2" from the bottom. On the side with the thin strip to fold, completely remove that small rectangle.
4. On the top score that is 2" down from top, cut out a notch from the 11" thinnest fold so the small rectangle at the top can be folded freely.5.
7. Assemble and adhere bottom of the bag by placing adhesive on the inside of one LONG flap. Fold the short flaps in, then fold the long flap without adhesive, and finally fold in the flap with adhesive to hold it all together. You can ensure the adhesive makes a good bond by using a bone folder to press down from the inside of the bag when it is stood up on a table.
8. Adhere the Tag and Flowers to the front of the bag on the top. Punch a hole in the middle of each short side at the top using a 1/8" Circle Punch. String about 12" of Black Cord through both holes and tie a bow.
