"Merry Christmas..." Stamp and Inking Technique Card
with Timeless Tidings

The tutorial for today focuses on the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set.  The Timeless Tidings Project Kit is amazing, but the stamp set has so much to offer as well!  There are THREE different stamping techniques used in the tree panel on the card, so be sure to check out the tutorial below!

Thankful Thursday

September is finally here and so many people are looking forward to the holidays coming in the following months.  For several family members, fall is the best time of year.  We are looking forward to the colors, the smells, and the fall flavors (although pumpkin spice is not my choice).  Even though Autumn is upon us, I am still thankful for the beautiful, although hot and muggy weather.  Summer is one of my favorite times and I love that we can enjoy a meal on a patio or sit on the deck and enjoy the hummingbirds.  I am thankful for every moment I get to spend outdoors and with those I love.

What's more, any order of $50 or more this week will also get you a full pack of Pearl Basic Jewels FREE.  How's that for wizardry?  Be sure to use the promo code below and follow my link to order with me to get this awesome addition to your crafting necessities.

"Merry Christmas..." Stamp and Inking Technique Card Tutorial
Using Timeless Tidings Stamp Set

Base:  Crumb Cake Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded at 4 1/4", card in landscape
Layer 1: Shaded Spruce Card Stock, 5 1/2" x 2 3/4"
Layer 2: Shimmery White Card Stock, 5 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Embellishments: Pearl Basic Jewels

Instructions

1.  Stamp "Merry Christmas" sentiment on top left corner of Base using Shaded Spruce Ink.  Stamp "And a Happy...." sentiment on the bottom right corner of the Base using Shaded Spruce Ink.

2.  Ink up the tree image with Shaded Spruce and spray once using a Stampin' Spritzer (Image 1).  Stamp image without re-inking 4-5 times on Layer 2, stamps should overlap and start towards bottom for the darkest images to be in front, and lightest images to be towards the top (Image 2).  Repeat process about 4 times until panel is fully stamped.

3.  Gently squeeze the cover into the ink pad of Pool Party Ink Pad (Image 3).  Using an Aqua Painter filled with water, pick up some Pool Party Ink from the cover of the ink pad (do not pick up from the ink pad itself!).  Hold the Aqua Painter over Layer 2 and tap with your finger firmly to flick droplets onto the panel (Image 4).
