Dashing Deer 3" x 3" Card Tutorial

This pint-size card is packed with cheer.  Perfect to add to any gift or to give alone for a special note.  Paired with the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (DSP), this card uses traditional red and green, but could be easily adapted to suite other occasions.  Wink of Stella is hard to see, but the deer shimmers in the light, adding more glitz for any occasion.  Make it using the tutorial below!

I'm writing my blogs well early due to my upcoming surgery and Hurricane Florence approaching.  I am so amazed with how many friends and colleagues I have who call or text to check on me and my family to make sure we are ready.  Matt's work is planning to close down in order to make sure everyone is safe as well, and we both are so grateful for the people who surround us every day.  I give thanks for all those showing compassion, kindness, and help during this time, not just for us, but for everyone in the community.  It seems when disaster approached, the NC community pulls together to help everyone in need, regardless of our differences.

Dashing Deer 3" x 3" Card Tutorial

Base: Garden Green Card Stock, 3" x 6" scored and folded at 3", fold goes to the top

Layer 1: Whisper White Card Stock, 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Layer 2: Dashing Along DSP , 2 5/8" x 2 5/8", cut out 2 1/4" scallop circle from middle using Layering Circles Die
Inside Panel:  Whisper White Card Stock, 2 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Embellishment: Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle, Pearl Basic Jewels



1.  Stamp Deer in middle of Layer 1 using Garden Green Ink Pad.

2.  Adhere Layers 1 and 2 to Base centering each over the layer below.

3.  Wrap card at top with Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and embellish around deer with Pearls.
