Acorn-y Note Card Tutorial
Couldn't pass this little guy by! This acorn 2-step stamp is adorable! Perfect for a pint-sized greeting. Simply stamp in two neutral tones (I used Early Espresso and Soft Suede). Tearing paper also creates a rustic effect and adds interest, and is super easy to do!
Thankful Thursday
While a lot of people are celebrating the return of pumpkin spice, my joy is more set in apple everything. I love the fall harvest season and all the wonderful choices it brings. With our grocery stores being stocked with produce from all over the world, it is hard to remember that certain foods really aren't available locally until specific seasons. I am so grateful that we have so many options, but I also give much thanks for those who grow locally. Supporting local, even regional to me means we are supporting our community and hopefully keeping our precious resources for years to come. Thank you to all who grow locally!

Multi-step stamping allows you to create many different types of looks with the Painted Harvest Stamp Set. There are three pairs of multi-step stamps in the set. The flower looks amazing in many different colors. Creating depth and shading is easy using a lighter and darker shade of the same color.

Acorn-y Note Card Tutorial
Measurements:Base: Whisper White Card Stock, 3" x 6"
Layer 1: Early Espresso Card Stock,
2 7/8" square
2 7/8" square
Layer 2: Wood Texture Designer Series Paper,
white colored, 2 3/4" square
Embellishment: Braided Linen Trim

Instructions:
1. Tear the bottom edge of Layer 1 and Layer 2, tearing the edge toward the side of the Designer Series Paper that you wish to be shown.
2. Stamp "Gather Together" sentiment across top of Layer 2 in Early Espresso. Stamp 3 acorns below sentiment on left side, using Early Espresso for the nut and Soft Suede for the cap.
3. Adhere Layer 1 and 2 together using Snail. Wrap Layers with Braided Linen Trim just below the sentiment and adhere to the back of Layer 2 using Mini Glue Dots.
4. Adhere Layers to Base using Snail. Tie a bow in Braided Linen Trim and adhere on to trim on card over the acorns.
