Blizzard of Wishes Card Tutorial

I'm so excited for the products coming out for November!  I absolutely love snowflakes and Snowflake Showcase is the limited time product suite only available in November.  There are so many awesome snowflake images in the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set, but here I've chosen to stick with the three individual stamps.  Create this look by stamping the three snowflakes all over a piece of Smokey Slate Card Stock in Versamark Ink.  Sprinkle on White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat set with your Heat Tool.  Full tutorial below, but I'll be giving you the product list later in the week when all these fabulous products go live.  Add in the Snowflake Trinket and a banner of White Velvet Paper and your cards will be rich with texture and beauty.

Blizzard of Wishes Card Tutorial

Snow is Glistening Stamp Set

Measurements:

Base: Whisper White Thick Card Stock, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Layer 1:  Smokey Slate Card Stock,
4" x 5 1/4"

Layer 2:  White Velvet Paper,  1 1/2" x 4 1/2"
Layer 3:  Smokey Slate Card Stock, 3/4" x 3 1/4"
Embellishment: Snowflake Trinket

Instructions:

1.  Rub Embossing Buddy over Layer 3.  Stamp "Sending a Blizzard" sentiment onto  Layer 3 using Versamark Ink.  Cover with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and tap off extra.  Heat set with Heat Tool, moving the Heat Tool so you don't get hot spots.  You will see the powder melt, and when it is all melted you're done!  Banner cut right end of Layer 3

2.  Repeat step 1, but stamp the three different snowflakes all over Layer 1.  Follow instructions for heat setting from step 1.  Adhere Layer 1 to Base.

3.  Banner cut end one end of Layer 2.  Adhere to Layer 2 on bottom right corner with banner end facing left.

4.  Adhere Layer 3 on top of Layer 2 using Liquid Glue.  Adhere Snowflake Trinket to left edge of Layer 3 using Mini Glue Dot.
