Wonderful Wednesday with Snow is Glistening

Santa's Bag and Gift Tag Tutorial

All the wrapping has begun in our house.  I always look for ways to make our gift wrap sparkle just as much as the gift we give.  At least in our house, gifts arrive by mail starting any time after Thanksgiving, and once unboxed, they sit under our tree until Christmas Day.  They are beautiful, and add so much holiday cheer to our living space, but they are also a reminder of how may blessing we have.  So I try to make our gift wrapping something special.  Today's project uses the Santa's Bags, which are a perfect size for socks, jewelry, and other small items.  Best of all, they are reusable, so when you give one, it can be used again.  These are also very shimmery in person as all the stamping is done with the Bright Copper Shimmer Paint.  This paint comes in 4 colors, and washes off stamps and sponges quickly (just be sure to wash soon after use).

YouTube Tuesday with Snowfall Thinlits

Brusho Blizzard Card Tutorial

Brusho is one of those magical items that sprinkles joy whenever used.  It's magic is that the color seems to just appear.  You don't even open the container the way you would any other container!  Nope, instead of unwrapping it and pulling the cap off you POKE A HOLE IN THE LID.  That's right, turn it into a salt shaker 'cause that's what you do with it.  Sprinkle a little color everywhere you go.  And boy, does this Brusho go far, a little goes a looooooong way, and makes a huge impact.  You just need water to make it do it's magic, and that's it.  Sprinkle Brusho, then spritz with water, or reverse.  It's super easy to use, loads of fun, and makes a beautiful blizzard-ish background for this card.  I'll show you how in today's YouTube tutorial.

Merry Monday with Snow is Glistening

Flurries For You Note Card Tutorial

Just a few more days are left of the Snowflake Showcase, so all the products will be featured on my blog this week....with some extra pizzazz.  I've also used this Designer Series Paper (DSP) before, but it was a paper pack limited to hosts earlier this fall.  Since so many DSPs are selling out, Stampin' Up! decided to make this one available for all customers so you can enjoy more merriment and bring more holiday cheer to your crafting this season.  The sentiment "For You" is stamped right on top of the DSP and has Stampin' Emboss Powder used to make it white.  Add the Sparkle Glimmer Paper die cut from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies and you've got a feast of flurries for any friend or family.
