Lazy Sunday with Bee Thankful

Lazy Coloring Thanks Card Tutorial
I'm feeling a little lazy this Sunday, so I wanted to do a stamping technique that was easy and quick.  I also wanted to show off this really fun stamp, but most everything I thought to do last night was more involved than what I wanted to do.  So I slept on it....and woke up with a very colorful but simple way to make todays tutorial: baby wipes.

This is called "The Baby Wipe Technique" because you put ink from re-inkers onto a baby wipe and use the inked baby wipe as an ink pad.  Different types of baby wipes use more or less ink, and the ink will spread differently on different types too, but for the most part, you simply drop ink all over the baby wipe until you cover it.  Check it by doing a sample stamping and add more ink if you're missing any spots.  Then stamp!  What's great is this technique creates a temporary ink pad you can use multiple times, so if you want to create many of the same card, or use the same ink for multiple projects, you don't have to start over each time you stamp.  You can use up the ink and simply add more ink if it starts to run out.  Only thing to watch for is if your baby wipe starts to fall apart.  You don't want to get fibers on your stamp, so just watch for that.

Simple Saturday with Bee Thankful

Colorful Thanks Card Tutorial
I'm going to need to dig back through my blog or my cards to see what I did with this stamp before.  I'm pretty sure I did something very similar to this already.  But eh, I must like the colors and the Blends to do it again right?

This is a simple stamp to use, but has endless possibilities for coloring.  I opted for Blends this time, which is one of my favorite coloring tools.  I've included one of my Blends videos below to help you get started if you've never used them.  Do you have a favorite stamp set for coloring?

Weekend Victory with Around The Corner

Celebrate Victory Card Tutorial
Back to our Product of the Week: Around the Corner Stamp Set!  I love this sentiment, especially for the 4th of July, or for family and friends I know who serve our country.  This can be made Patriotic, but it certainly doesn't need to be.  Either way, small victories are definitely worth celebrating.  Have you had a victory lately that you'd like to share?
