Cat's Out of the Bag Project Tutorial
Maybe it should be titled "Cats On The Bag?" Regardless, the cats in the Toil and Trouble Product Suite are cute but sly grin. And the Toil and Trouble Designer Series Paper (DSP) has a purrrr-fectly feline background print. I also almost forgot about the Cat Punch! I would have needed some black magic to remedy my mishap had I forgotten the punch! But wait, stamping on fabric? Why yes! The Santa's Bags were borrowed from the Santa's Workshop Product Suite. Using Toil and Trouble Product Suite
Measurements:
Base: Santa's Bag
Tag Layer 1: Toil and Trouble DSP, cat print 2" Circle Punch
Tag Layer 2: Basic Black Card Stock, Cat Punch
Tag Layer 3: Whisper White Card Stock, 1" Circle Punch
Embellishments: Black Baker's Twine, Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Stazon Cleaner
Embellishments: Black Baker's Twine, Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Stazon Cleaner
Instructions:
1. Stamp "Trick or Treat" sentiment onto Tag Layer 1 using Jet Black Stazon Ink. Adhere to Tag Layer 2.
2. Adhere Tag Layer 2 to Tag Layer 1. Punch a 1/8" hole in Tag Layer 1 near cat head.
2. Adhere Tag Layer 2 to Tag Layer 1. Punch a 1/8" hole in Tag Layer 1 near cat head.
3. Place a scrap paper inside the Santa's Bag. Stamp cat image all over Santa's Bag using Jet Black Stazon Ink. Remove scrap paper.
4. Add two Rhinestones for eyes on the black cat punched shape on the tag. Thread Black Baker's Twine through the 1/8" hole on Tag and tie to drawstring of Santa's Bag.
